- Kneed well till the dough is not sticky, this takes like 5-10 mins. Cover and leave it to rest for 1hour in a greased bowl. After 1 hour the dough should be double in size
- Sprinkle some flour in your work area, take the dough and make a cylindrical shape then cut into pieces as shown
- With each piece make a ball, i made 8 balls
- Roll each ball one by one and spread blue band
- Repeat the process, putting each one on top of the other. Do not put blue band on the last one. Be generous with the blue band
- Cover with a cling film and put in the freezer for 30mins
- Roll it out again to form an even shape, this should look like one big chapati
- First cut into quarters, then 3 in each quater making them 12 in total. Shape should be triangular
- Take one piece and make a small cut at the middle of the triangle, should be just a small cut
- Shape it like shown. Roll it from the cut end making sure the end is tacked well
- I put jam in three pieces. You can use chocolate or any filling of your choice
- Repeat process for all the triangles, then arrange in your baking tin and let rise for another 30mins
- Prepare your "oven", put it on the cooker and heat it for about 5mins covered
- Brush your croissants with the egg wash and put them in the oven
- Cover with another sufuria and bake for 20-25mins in low to medium heat
