- Take 1/2 cup Water
- Prepare Pinch Baking soda
- Make ready Pinch Turmeric powder
- Take 1/2 cup Maize flour
- Get 4 tbsp All-purpose flour/Wheat flour/ Corn flour
- Take as per taste Salt
- Take as per taste Pepper
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. It's like a churro in nacho form. In a non-stick pan, heat a dash of oil and brown mince in batches. Flavour your nachos with fried soya granules.
Steps to make Nachos (non-fried):
- Heat water in a pan. Add baking soda and turmeric powder when it starts to simmer.
- Then, add maize flour and fold well. Turn off the flame and keep it aside for about 12 minutes.
- Once It has cooled down partially, add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper, and knead a soft dough(crackfree).
- Take small portion of a dough between two plastic sheets and roll it into a thin tortilla. - Tip- Apply some oil on plastic sheets before you start rolling. - Tip- Use papad maker, if available.
- Then, cut it into triangular pieces, apply little oil and bake them at 180 C until crisp.
- Serve it with cheese sauce, salsa and sour cream.
