  2. Prepare 20 cashews
  3. Get 1 cup milk
  4. Make ready 3 big onions thinly sliced

  7. Take 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  8. Make ready 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  9. Take 1 tsp coriander powder
  10. Make ready 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp dried Kasuri methi
  12. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  13. Make ready 3 tbsp refined oil
  14. Take 3 tbsp ghee
  15. Prepare To Marinate:
  16. Make ready 1/2 lemon juice
  17. Make ready 2 tbsp curd
  18. Get 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  19. Prepare 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  20. Take 1 tbsp salt
Instructions to make Chicken Afghani:
  1. Marinate the chicken with the ingredients listed in marinade section and refrigerate for an hour.
  2. Add 3 tbsp of oil In a pan and shallow fry the chicken. Cook for 20 minutes by covering the pan with a lid. Keep the cooked chucked aside.
  3. In the same pan, fry the onions and cashew till they are golden brown. Cool for some time and grind them in a mixer to make a smooth paste.
  4. Add ghee to a pan and fry the ginger garlic paste for 5 minutes. Add tomato purée, amchur powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, salt and milk and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the onion cashew paste and kasuri methi and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the chicken pieces and coriander leaves and stir well.
  7. Enjoy it hot with rice/roti!
