Butter Chicken is an easy recipe that's full of savory flavor with warm spices. This mild curry has tender chunks of chicken simmered in a creamy spiced curry sauce. It's quick to make with chicken, tomato sauce, cream, and handful of pantry spices. Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani) is one of the most popular curries in the world and yet happens to be one of the easiest!
Steps to make Butter chicken:
- Chop the chicken into chunks
- Add the garlic, ginger, paprika and a touch of salt. Marinate and leave for 15 mins.
- Add oil to a pan and cook the chicken. Once cooked, transfer the chicken into a bowl for later.
- To make the sauce finely chop the onion and add to a pan. Add oil and tsp of butter. Lightly sweat the onions.

- Pour the sauce into a blender
- Transfer the sauce into a pan using a sieve as the sauce needs to be smooth.
- Mix in the butter and cream. Also add the chicken and fenugreek. Let it simmer through
- Plate up with rice π and add a touch of cream to finesse.
