  1. Make ready 4 cup steamed rice
  2. Prepare 2 cup chopped onion
  3. Get 1 cup soya chunks
  4. Get 2 tbsp garlic paste

  7. Take to taste Salt
  8. Take 2 tbsp ghee
  9. Take 1/2 tsp saffron soak into 2 tbsp milk
  10. Prepare 1/2 cup brown onion
  11. Get 1/2 chopped carrots
  12. Get 1 tsp garam masala
  13. Make ready 1/3 tsp biryani masala
  14. Make ready 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  15. Get 4 tbsp oil
  16. Make ready 1 Star anise
  17. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds
  18. Make ready 1/2 tsp whole black pepper
  19. Make ready 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  20. Get 1/4 tsp turmuric Powder
  21. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  22. Get 2 green cardamom
  23. Get 2 bay leaf
  24. Get 2-3 cloves

Steps to make Veg biryani:
  1. Firstly soak soya chunks in water for 5 minutes. Now squeeze excess water. Then heat a pan. Then add oil. Saute soya chunks in pan until they become golden colour. Take out from pan. Now add oil in same pan. Put few whole spice (black pepper, star anise, Cumin, cloves, green cardamom, bay leaf). Now add onion.saute for 2 minutes.
  2. Then add carrot, capsicum, cabbage. Cook it for 1 minutes. Now add turmuric, red chilli powder, garam Masala. Mix it well.now add ginger garlic paste. Cook it again for 2 minutes. Add salt and biryani masala. Mix it well.Now add soya chunks. Mix again. Cook it with lid for 4-5 minutes. Biryani masala is ready. Now we will assemble all biryani with layer.
  3. Take a deep pan. Put 2 tsp ghee.now put 1/4 part of masala. Spread gently. Then make one layer of rice. Again one layer of prepared masala. Make 4-6 Layar like this. After that pour soaked saffron in to rice. Then spread brown onion and ghee on the top. Now spread few coriander leaves.
  4. Now cover the lid. U can use wheat dough to cover it tightly. Cook on slow flam for 20-25 minutes. After that ready to serve veg biryani.
