Steps to make Veg Biryani:
- Soak the basmati rice for 1 hour
- Cut the vegetables into small pieces, potatoes into big halves and onions into thin slices
- Heat a pan and put some oil and fry the cauliflower florets till they turn golden brown. Add turmeric and salt as needed
- Remove the cauliflowers and fry the potatoes till they are soft
- Now remove the potatoes and fry the onions till they are golden brown with ginger onion paste, bay leaves and some salt and turmeric. Add the boiled beans and green peas into it and saute till they are well cooked
- Once the masala is done add the fried cauliflowers and potatoes into this and mix well. Add some biryani masala and mix
- Heat some water for rice and add the whole garam masala into it. Once the water boils, remove the garam masala and add the basmati rice
- Once the rice is cooked strain the water and add the biryani veggies prepared into it and mix by adding ghee into it
- Your biryani is ready to be served with fries, chutney or raita
