Instructions to make Mutton Biryani:
- In a Pan add Cumin Seeds, Star Anise, Nutmeg, Mace, Cinnamon, Green Cardamom, Cloves, Black Cardamom, Coriander Seeds, Black PepperCorns, and Fennel Seeds. Dry Roast until Fragrant.
- Let it Cool.
- Now Grind to make a Course Powder.
- Add Oil in a Pot. Add Mutton and Ginger Garlic Paste. Mix until Changes Colour.
- Add Water, Turmeric Powder and Salt. Mix and Bring it to a Boil.
- Cover and Cook on Medium Flame until Tender. (40-45 minutes).
- Uncover and Cook without Mixing until Oil Separates.
- In a Bowl add Yoghurt and Whisk for 1 Minute.
- Add the Yoghurt in the Mutton Mixture and Mix.
- Add Grinded Spices and Red Chilli Powder. Mix and Cook for 4-5 Minutes.
- Add Potatoes and Mix. Take of Pot from the Flame.
- Add Rice in a Pot. Save some for later. On Top of the Rice add Mutton Mixture. Save some for later. Now Add the saved Rice on Top. Save some for later. Now ddd the Saved Mutton Mixture on Top. Add the Rice on Top Now.
- Mix Food Colour with Water. Add it on top of the Rice. Add Lemon Juice on top of the Rice as Well.
- Cover and Steam. Cook on Low Flame for 8-10 Minutes.
- Turn off the Flame and Serve Yummy and Delicious Mutton Biryani.
