- Wash the rice. Take a big vessel add all khade masala in water, add the rice and boil the rice, till it cooked. Strain it strainer. Keep aside to cool.

- Take a big heavy bottomed wok or pattila, add oil, onion and ginger, garlic paste saute well then add tomato puree and saute till it leaves oil, add all the dry masala add vegetables. Add half cup water and cover till it soft add soybean. Mix well. Take out more than half the quantity of vegetables.
- Take 3 handfuls of rice in different plates and colour it. In same vegetable pan make layer of vegetable than rice. Again vegetables than rice, repeat it. On final top add slice onion and coriander. Cover it with plate and seal with dough. (like in picture)For dum biryani.
- Cook for 5 to 7 mins, open the lid add 2 tbsp desi ghee. Mix well and serve with raita or salan etc.
