  1. First of all soak rice in water for 1 hour.
  2. Cut onion and tomatoes in round shapes and keep it ready.

  7. Add tomatoes, chopped green chillies and cook for 3 minutes. Then add roasted cumin and coriander powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, salt, biryani masala, garam masala. Mix it well and cook it for 5 minutes.
  8. Now add lemon slices and chicken to it, cover it and cook for 3-5 minutes. Then turn off the flame.
  9. In a bowl in water dissolve food color and put it ready.
  10. Now it's turn of layering. Grease pateela with oil. Made a layer of rice, then put chicken mixture over it. Again put rice then chicken and then again rice. Now pour color over it and put on low flame (dam Par rakhna) for 15 minutes.
